A Mindful Approach to Gift Giving

Written by

Did you know, consumers throw away approximately £42 million of unwanted Christmas presents every year, with the majority ending up in landfill.
It is believed that of all purchases made in the UK for Christmas, only 1% will still be in use six months later.

We can learn to gift better and more mindfully by paying attention to what is meaningful for the recipient and exploring the whys behind giving the gift.

When family & friends ask what to get the little ones, I always ask for an experience or membership and usually at a place that is beneficial to them. Being present and creating precious memories is what I value more and that’s one less thing going to landfill.

In no particular order, here are a few of our favourite memberships/workshops/experiences for Londoners, 5 & 6 are not suitable for kids but parents need a break too!
