Opening today at Tate Modern, this landmark exhibition of one of the most remarkable artists of the twentieth century, Philip Guston, is the artist’s first major UK retrospective in 20 years.
The exhibition spans more than 100 paintings and drawings across his momentous 50 year career and offers an insight into Guston’s formative years and activism, abstraction period and his thought provoking late works.
